Shaolin Dee Dat Jow Liniment is a traditional Chinese medicine formula orally transmitted by the 37th Patriarch of the Shaolin monastery. Dee Dat Jow is Cantonese for die da jiu, meaning “fall and strike wine.” This highly respected formula is used as adjunct therapy for the treatment of swelling, pain, and ecchymosis from traumatic injury during the initial phase when there is redness, heat, swelling, and pain.
The formula moves qi and quickens blood, frees and eases the flow of channels and vessels, and stops pain. Hand-crafted in small batches at a Portland-based facility using high-quality herbs, premium oils, and 100% grain alcohol. Vegan formula free of animal products, soy, dairy, gluten, sesame, and nuts.

Suggested Use

For recent closed injuries characterized by pain and marked swelling without marked ecchymosis (bruising). Ideal for martial artists, athletes, and anyone experiencing traumatic injuries with swelling and pain. Can be used with TDP lamp, heat lamp, or hair dryer for enhanced absorption.

Directions

Apply liberally to the affected area 3-5 times per day. For best results, use in conjunction with a TDP lamp, heat lamp, or hair-dryer to enhance absorption. For external use only. May also be applied to acupuncture points chosen for stimulation similar to regular moxibustion.

Warnings

For external use only. Do not apply to profusely weeping or suppurating sores. Do not apply to open wounds or broken skin. Keep out of reach of children. If condition worsens or persists for more than 7 days, consult a healthcare practitioner. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
